When she was a little girl, Jenn Sheelen was taught to knit by her grandmother fondly known as "Gramma Rebel." Years went by where she would knit sporadically, but only garter stitch scarves. After seeing her friend Colleen teach herself how to knit, Jenn got the knitting bug again and hasn't stopped since. Since then, Jenn was inspired by her husband Frank to take charge and finally write knitting patterns. He said it was past time she became an author and share her talent, as well as her joy and excitement, with the knitting community. She battles a chronic pain condition but pushes through it to follow her dreams. Knitting and spinning yarn have helped her keep her "bubbles and sunshine" spirit and have been better medicine than any doctor could prescribe.
