This is the perfect jar cover to make for your sweetheart or a loved one! Whether it be for Valentine’s Day or just because, it makes for a cute and unique gift. Very little yarn and time is needed to knit this up. Put a tealight inside the jar and watch the flames glow through the hearts. Or fill the jar with candies and gift a tealight on the side! Once the candies are gone from this special “candy jar” it becomes a candle! This is a fun knit in various colors. Use variegated, solid, sparkly, etc. for different looks. Maybe even make a matched set!

The jar cover fits a 16oz/pint jar; measurements 5.2” (13.2 cm) tall, 2.5” (6.4 cm) opening.

Gauge: 30 stitches and 42 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch

Needle Size : US 1 1/2 - 2.5 mm

Yardage : 80 - 100 yards (73 - 91 m)
