This headband was knit to match the Happiness in Threes Mitts and Cowl. It follows the same cable pattern and, as with the other two patterns, it is meant to be easy for a beginner to follow. The pattern cannot be named Happiness in Threes without a “three” so I created a matching headband! This is a cute and stylish knit that can be made in all different types of yarn. It’s a great little addition to an outfit to add a pop of color. It may also cover the ears to keep them warm during a walk on a chilly day! This is a great project for a fast knit gift or to use up small skeins of yarn.
This headband is knit back and forth; the cast-on and bind-off edges are seamed together.
The provisional cast on method is recommended, but not necessary for this pattern.
This pattern includes instructions for DK Weight as well as Worsted Weight yarn.
