This jar cover is a lovely addition to a Winter Wonderland home decor. It works for the holidays and all through the winter! Put a tea light inside the jar and you’ll see where the Glowflake jar cover earned it’s name. This cover takes very little time and yarn to knit. It makes for a great quick-knit gift as well as pretty decoration for winter parties and events. Glowflake is fun to knit in white yarn with a hint of sparkle for a “sunlight glinting off freshly fallen snow” look. Or, change up the look with different colors, even beads, and make it your own!

Instructions have been written out as well as charted for the knitters preference.

The jar cover fits a 16oz/pint jar; measurements 5.2” (13.2 cm) tall, 2.5” (6.4 cm) opening.

Gauge: 30 stitches and 42 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch

Needle Size : US 1 1/2 - 2.5 mm

Yardage : 80 - 100 yards (73 - 91 m)
